Hello hello. Welcome to this month’s Status Update. We’re talking about a new concierge healthcare membership, Akari’s third location on Orchard Street, and the items that have now become permanent fixtures on my packing lists.

Plus, another month, another giveaway. We’ve got a big-ticket item today: the Carepod One Plus Humidifier ($350). I know it’s an inappropriate time to offer you more humidity considering the weather outside in many parts of the world, but I promise you’ll want this very badly in two months. Or you can be as freaky as I am and use a humidifier in the summer too.

Travel Requirements

I used to hear the phrase “bit by the travel bug” and think it was the cringiest statement known to mankind. That is until I, myself, experienced the unique momentum that comes from seeing new places and experiencing new things once you get on board a plane for the first time in a while. Anyway, I had a few trips this summer—Whistler, Greece, Detroit—you know, the usuals, and I’ve landed on the items that will officially be in my carry-on from here on out.
