My favorite niche perfumer is Thin Wild Mercury. All her scents are unisex and kind of weird but in a great way. She has a scent called Chateau that literally smells like opening an old mahogany dresser that’s still unfinished on the inside, mixed with rose and linen. It’s one of my favorite scents. For fall I love Velvet by Commodity. It smells like roasted marshmallows and yet it isn’t cloying or sticky sweet?? I remember how glamorous Daisy was when it first came out, all of us in high school wanted it. I’ll have to get the sample set from DS and Durga because this has piqued my interest.
i love love love fragrance, so this was a very enjoyable read. Fragrantica is my favorite site for continued education; it has forums and profiles for various perfumes, which makes it easy to save my favorites & discover new ones.
okay I feel instantly smarter. this was gorgeous
thank you love
Riding for smells. My best unnecessary spend this year has been subscribing to scentbird 👀
